J.R. Smith was actually spot on when describing former All-Pro CB Darrelle Revis in week 1, as the solitary isle once known as ‘Revis Island’ has been a real vacation destination for Wide Receivers.  The Jets are the worst rated pass Defense on adjusted Net Yards per Pass and adjusted Success rate.  Look for the Steelers receiving crew to get their tiny umbrella’s out as Big Ben has thrown the deep ball 24.3% of the time with a league leading 60% of the yardage coming through big play passes.

The Steelers defense has not been much better than the Jets, with the 29th ranked defense measured by adjusted yards per play.  The Jets offensively should have some success as Fitzpatrick’s 6.0% INT rate will come down from nosebleed levels facing a defense that is giving up 7.3 NYPP.

Our advanced stats model sees points in a game of two historically defensive teams as we lean to the OVER (48).  No opinion on the side.
