California (-7)  30   STANFORD  22

The Bears’ offense has been much better with Francisco Mendoza at quarterback, as they’ve averaged 33 points per game in his 5 stars. Cal by 7 is the fair line as long as QB Ashton Daniels plays for Stanford. Daniels was splitting snaps with Justin Lamson but he’s clearly proven that he’s the better option at quarterback and was getting almost all of the snaps the last 4 weeks before getting hurt against Oregon State. Daniels is listed as day-to-day and I suppose I’d rather have Cal at -7 with his status uncertain.
