There is no value on the side here after adjusting for each team’s starting quarterback being out but I do like the under. Boston College runs the ball a lot more with the poor throwing Darius Wade at quarterback and the Eagles’ pace (plays per minute) slowed down significantly with Wade playing last week with just 15 pass plays the entire game. Given how bad the Syracuse run defense is (212 yards at 6.3 yards per rushing play allowed) I don’t see any reason to think that BC will throw any more than that this week. Fewer plays and lower efficiency from each team should result in a lower scoring game than expected.
