Opinion – Fresno State (+16) over OREGON

Oregon played well in their first game without star Chris Boucher, beating UNLV by 20 as an 18 ½ point favorite, which is perhaps why the line on this game has gone up from the opening line of 14 ½ points. It is not likely that the Ducks are just as good without Boucher, who leads the team in scoring on 59% shooting while also averaging 7.8 rebounds and 3.2 blocks per game. I’d favor Oregon by only 15 ½ points with Boucher playing and I get 14 points as a fair line with him out. Fresno has covered the spread in their last 5 lined games, including a 3 point loss as a 19 ½ point underdog at Marquette. I’ll lean with Fresno State based on the line value.
