UCF (-21)  47   Tulsa  22

Tulsa played well defensively in their lone game – a come-from-ahead 7-13 loss at Oklahoma State – but Cowboys’ quarterback Spencer Sanders was knocked out of the game early and backup Ethan Bullock looked overwhelmed in accumulating just 27 yards on 17 pass plays. Tulsa lost their lead when now #2 quarterback Shane Illingworth entered the game and completed 4 of 5 passes for 79 yards. While it’s tough to gauge the Hurricanes’ pass defense on that game, they did play extremely good run defense against Chubba Hubbard and company, limiting the All-American to just 3.4 yards per run. Tulsa does have a better than average defense but UCF is elite offensively and they haven’t taken their foot off the pedal when they get a big lead, as starting quarterback Dillon Gabriel has thrown every pass for the Golden Knights this season. Perhaps they want to win big to impress playoff committee members should they go unbeaten. My ratings favor the Knights by 25.5 points and I like them to win by more than 3 touchdowns.
