OHIO STATE (-5)  23   Michigan  14

OHIO STATE (-5)  23   Michigan  18 (with Speight at QB)

Michigan backup quarterback John O’Korn is horrible. It’s not just the pathetic 3.6 yards per pass play on 46 pass plays this season but O’Korn also averaged just 4.2 yppp on 156 pass plays against FBS competition as the starting quarterback at Houston in 2014 before being replaced by Greg Ward III, who posted much better numbers in the same offense. With O’Korn at quarterback the value is with Ohio State and even more so on the Under (45).

NOTE: It appears as if Wilton Speight could start for Michigan after all, as he is warming up and apparently throwing pretty well.

If Speight plays and is 100% (not likely) then I’d predict the score at Ohio State (-5) 23   Michigan  19 with no opinion on the side and still favoring the Under, but not nearly as strongly as if O’Korn were playing.
