GEORGIA (-25)  31   Kentucky  10

Kentucky went with top receiver Lynn Bowden Jr. at quarterback last week in their win over Arkansas and he completed 7 of 11 passes (with one sack) for a decent 6.5 yards per pass play while adding 202 yards on 23 runs. Sawyer Smith, how replaced injured starter Terry Wilson, is available to play but he also practiced last week and didn’t play and I think the Wildcats are better off sticking with Bowden, who was a quarterback in high school and is certainly an upgrade over the wildly inaccurate Smith, who was completing just 46% of his passes and isn’t a runner.

Georgia should be focused here but running quarterbacks tend to disrupt elite defenses (ask Nick Saban about that) and I like Kentucky to stay within the big number assuming Bowden is back behind center. The Wildcats pace of play is also VERY slow with so many runs and the fewer possessions there are the more likely the big dog covers the spread.
