Colorado State (-4)  39   NEW MEXICO  31

Colorado State is just 1-5 straight up but the Rams are actually not that bad of a team. CSU averages over 450 yards per game at 6.4 yards per play while allowing 396 yards at 5.9  yppl and they’ve only been 4.5 points worse than an average team overall from the line of scrimmage after factoring in schedule strength.

New Mexico is 2-3 but their two wins have been against bad teams and they didn’t cover the spread in either of those victories (just 1-4 ATS overall). The Lobos move the ball pretty well on offense (6.2 yppl and 27.8 points per game) but their quarterbacks are interception prone and their defense is horrible – allowing 515 yards and 39.6 points per game at 6.9 yppl (to teams that would average 5.4 yppl against an average defense).

Colorado State should move the ball with ease after struggling the last two weeks against good defensive teams (Utah State and San Diego State) and New Mexico, while moving the ball at a good clip, tends to make too many mistakes to keep up with what their defense allows.
